Network Performance Group Launches Network Monitoring Product CoreWatch

St. Louis, MO (Stl Press Releases) April 10, 2006 - River City Network Performance Group (http://www.rcnpg.com/corewatch.html) today announced the launch of a new network monitoring service called CoreWatch. Responding to demand by service providers across the country and supporting various platforms including Internet Service Providers (ISP), Wireless Internet Service Providers (WISP), WiMax based WISP’s, Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSP’s) and Next Generation Providers, CoreWatch was developed to augment a providers existing systems by pinging the core elements from the outside, looking in. CoreWatch monitors up to 10 core elements including the core router(s), switch(s) and servers supporting AAA, email and web services. In the even of an alarm, the provider is notified of such following a predetermined escalation list using telephone calls and even short text messages to cell phones.

“Service Providers who develop revenue generating networks and services, are often pressed by narrow margins and supported by quality skill sets form their community. CoreWatch was developed by input from our base of clients who asked for a service that was an add-on to their current processes and tools, not a system wide replacement” said River City’s John Alden. “At a price point of only $250.00 per month, CoreWatch offers the peace of mind to the network operator without having to eat into margins. One client is using our enhanced reporting capabilities as a means of SLA assurance for their corporate customers” Alden furthered.

CoreWatch is available as a basic service and also as CareWatch Enhanced , which includes all of the basic deliverables plus management of up to two core routers for only $500.00 per month.
